Ways to Get Involved

Every private school needs an active parent community and their financial support.  The Heights has always enjoyed an engaged, creative, and generous parent body.  it is because of their involvement and generosity that the School has been successful at its mission.  In order to build on the work of our founding parents and those who followed, we hope all our parents feel fully invested in the life and work of The Heights

Opportunities to get involved are organized through three operating groups: the Parent Association Executive Committee; the Mothers Club; and the Fathers Club. Through these operating groups, parents volunteer to support the School in a number of critical areas including: fundraising, caring for our new Chapel, providing refreshments for parent receptions, and helping the Administration with school mailings and other staff support. Parent volunteers also act as class representatives and help arrange long-established grade-specific traditions such as the Lower School Fall Festival, the Middle School Gentlemen's Adventure Dinners, and the Mother/Son Mass and Brunch for eighth and twelfth graders.

At the start of every school year, parents can volunteer at back-to-school nights, smokers for dads, Mothers Club Wine and Cheese night, or any other time you like! Those who offer to share their time and talents are then contacted by parent event chairs.
