Dr. Stare begins his eleventh year at The Heights.  A former lecturer at the Wharton School of Business and the Engineering Department of the University of Pennsylvania, he also brings a broad international business background in the satellite communications industry and military electronics.  Dr. Stare holds a B.S. degree in engineering physics from the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, an M.B.A. in finance and international business from the University of Chicago, and an M.S. and a Ph.D. in physics from Cornell University. He and his wife, Angela, have two children. Their son, Andrej, a 2006 graduate of The Heights, is attending The University of Mary Washington, and their daughter, Veronika, is a sophomore at Gettysburg College.
