Tom is in his thirty-second year at The Heights.  He has taught grades four through twelve in the disciplines of English and religion, held various administrative positions, and was appointed Assistant Headmaster in 1998.  Tom holds a B.A. in English from Providence College.  He and his wife, Cecilia, have eight children, three of whom have graduated from The Heights: Fr. Andrew Royals in 1997, Lt. Thomas Royals, USN in 2003; James in 2007, who attends the Naval Academy; and John Paul, who entered eleventh grade this fall.
