Phil began his career at The Heights in October of 2002, overseeing the School's business management and fundraising activities.  For the prior twenty years, Phil worked in the communications industry first for AT&T, then Lucent Technologies and Verizon Communications.  He held a variety of management positions at these companies, all related to sales, marketing and financial management.  Phil received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Queens College, CUNY and his M.B.A. from The George Washington University, where he taught for eleven years as an adjunct professor in their School of Business. Phil and his wife Callie have been married for twenty-seven years and have four children - PJ, Sean, Callie and Grace.  Their son PJ graduated from The Heights in 2005 and from Providence College in 2009.  Sean graduated from The Heights in 2008 and follows his brother PJ to study at Providence College.  Callie will begin eleventh grade at Oakcrest School in McLean, Virginia this fall, and Grace will begin second grade at Our Lady of Lourdes School in Bethesda.
