Travis McGavin begins his tenth year at The Heights School teaching in the sixth grade.  He is a graduate of the College of William and Mary with a double major of English and religion, and he received his M.A. in religion and culture from The Catholic University of America in 2001.A tutor with Summit Educational Group before joining The Heights faculty, Mr. McGavin also has held positions as a writer in the telecommunications and wireless industries. A sports referee during his years at William and Mary, he has coached community softball teams since 1996. Travis is the sixth grade soccer and baseball coach.  He and his wife, Annemarie, have three young sons, Raymond, Sean and Elias.
