Kathryn Kime
kkime@heights.edu Kathryn Kime joins The Heights community as both a member of the staff and mother to three students: Nolan ('11), Griffin ('13) and George ('16). Kathryn's primary task within the development office is to help coordinate the school's first major capital campaign, the Tower Campaign. She also serves as coordinating editor of The Cavalcade. Kathryn received her degree in economics from Randolph-Macon Woman's College. She also studied in the U.K. at the University of Reading and the University of Oxford. Kathryn was Director of Development for an independent school in Central Virginia before moving to the area and has worked with a variety of non-profits; she served as the founding director of the Foundation for Social and Cultural Advancement in Washington, DC. In addition, Kathryn has been working in the field of economics as an analyst and writer covering developing nations in the Middle East and Africa, the petroleum industry and, most recently, the transportation industry. Kathryn, her three sons and husband Fred, reside in Fairfax. |
