Larry Kaiser

A native of Columbus, Ohio,, Larry Kaiser earned a B.A. in political science from The Honors College at Kent State University in 1991. Upon graduation, he worked in the Washington, DC area for nearly eight years in and around politics, including The White House. In 1998, he moved to Rome, Italy to begin studies in philosophy and earned a bachelors degree in 2000 from The Pontifical University of the Holy Cross. At The Heights since 2002, Larry continued his studies while teaching and in 2010 earned the licentiate in philosophy from the same school with a specialization in metaphysics-noetics. He began his teaching career while abroad in Italy and London and here at The Heights he teaches Ethics, Philosophy and Logic in the Upper School. In addition to his teaching duties, Larry is one of the school's two college counselors. Larry and his wife, Maura, have a four-year-old daughter and an infant son.
