Sunny begins his eighth year at The Heights School. He arrived at the school after working at The Discovery Channel in Silver Spring, Maryland, in the international programming department. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, and raised in Kensington, Maryland, Sunny attended Walter Johnson Senior High School located in Bethesda, Maryland.  Sunny then attended Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania, graduating with a B.S. and double major in philosophy and marketing. At Albright, he was a varsity starter for the basketball team and was co-captain for three years. He and his wife Claudette, daughter Mena, and son Mason, reside in Silver Spring, Maryland.
