phancock@heights.edu Since coming to The Heights in 1995, Peter Hancock continues to bring an international perspective and wide learning to his upper school class in medieval history and AP U.S. Government course. A native of England, he graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge, with first class honors in history. After teaching English literature and composition at the American University of Cairo, he came to the U.S. and taught literature at Alabama’s Troy State University. In his thirteenth year at The Heights, Peter has taught English as well as history. He is currently completing a doctoral dissertation on Henry James at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. |
