cgleason@heights.edu The 2010-11 academic year will be Colin’s first as Head of the Lower School. Now in his eighth year as a faculty member—and after four years as Admissions Director--Colin is excited to be back in the Valley full time. Colin graduated from Washington and Lee University with a B.A. in Classics. While at W&L, he was a member of the University Peer Counselors, the school’s a’capella singing group, and the varsity basketball and rugby teams. In addition to his role as Lower School Head, he also teaches Natural History to the fifth grade and is the head varsity soccer coach. During the summer, Colin directs The Heights Natural History Camp and The Dangerous Camp for Boys. He and his wife, Nicole and their three children reside in Silver Spring.
